It takes the time date and place of that moment , the query or question is put to an Astrologer
There are certain rules applied for this. Question must be seriously put if the answer is earnestly desired and if correct results are to be obtained.
Horary Astrology is the ART OF PERCEIVING THE RELATION BEWTEEN THE THOUGHT AS IT ARISES IN MIND AND THE PATTERN OF HEAVEN AT THAT MOMENT.

Thus if the querist is serious and he or she ask the question with full faith and dedication ,and the astrologer looks at the combination of the stars in prescribed system, the chances of right predictions are very-very high. This system of astrology ivsis very straight in its answers and very practical ,most used and helpful as the indications about future by this system are not vaugevague, but on the contrary are very clear.

OR other questions related to any aspect of lifeMuhutra: What is muhurta? Basically, ‘muhurta’ means a period of two ghatis or 48 minutes. But in practice we use it as an selection of time, which is ,a moment created by various positive positions of planets containing certain positive vibrations or promises for any action, process or life starting at any time.
As per VIDYAMADHAVA it is time fit for performance of auspicious deeds. MUHURTA is appreciation or determination of important time factor in our activities. By MUHURTA, WE FIND OUT THAT VALUABLE MOMENT WHERE THERE IS GREATEST AND MOST POSITIVE HARMONY BEWTEEN HUMAN AND THE PLANETARY POSITIONS.
As Horoscope is your diagnostic tool, Muhurta is preventive or prescriptive. Even if afflictions occur in your horoscope chart, these can be NEUTRALISED or LESSENED by using this tool of astrology For selection of GOOD TIME (MUHURTA), we resort to selection of good VAAR, Good NAKSHATRA, Good TITHI (LUNAR DATE), Good YOGA, Good KARAN. Thus muhurta can be called elective astrology. Thus electing or choosing an auspicious or favourable day to start or commence an important auspicious work. Normally, auspicious date, time to start any important event of life (i.e. muhurta) can be seen/elected/selected for every event of life
