FAQ
Puja is the act of showing reverence to God or a super spirit, or another aspect of the divine through invocations, prayers, songs, and rituals. An essential part of puja is making a spiritual connection with the divine. It is a specific form of worship which also involves a physical offering of either a material object, or the body, mind or soul to God. The Pooja, when done properly guides oneself towards God, and while doing prayers, the Almighty GOD draws closer to the devotee. Performing puja, the appropriate Gods are appealed to remove afflictions and provide protection and prosperity. Puja is an innocent playful process reciprocating the supreme love of nature. The state of mind with which the puja is performed, the various materials (samagri) used and the chanting (mantras) which is done during the puja, all have a profound effect on the environment. The vibrations purify the place and people present.Puja is a meditation, it is a yoga. The feeling of oneness of the worshipper and the worshipped, is the realization of the true nature of the Self.
PUJAS Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Venus, Saturn, Jupiter, Rahu and Ketu Puja for individual planets. Buddha Puja:- Buddha Puja or Mercury Puja is dedicated to planet Mercury. Buddha Puja on Wednesdays brings in manifold benefits like eliminating difficulties, healthy progeny, possession of fertile lands etc. Chandra Puja:- Chandra Puja is dedicated to Lord Chandra, the Moon God. Grah Shanti Chandra Puja (Moon Worship) is recommended to those, having malefic Chandra or wrongly placed moon as per the horoscope. Guru Puja- Guru or Brihaspati Puja is dedicated to planet Jupiter. Ketu Puja:- Ketu (Dragon’s Tail) Puja is dedicated to planet Ketu. Grah Shanti Ketu Puja (Worship of Dragon’s Tail) is recommended for those, having malefic Ketu or wrongly placed Ketu as per the horoscope. Mangal Puja:- Mangal Puja or Mars Worship is dedicated to planet Mars. Grah Shanti Mangal Puja liberates one from debts, poverty and skin problems. Rahu Puja:- Rahu Puja or the Dragon’s Head Worship is dedicated to planet Rahu. Grah Shanti Rahu Pooja is recommended for those, having malefic Rahu or wrongly placed Rahu as per the horoscope. Shani Puja:- is done to appease planet Saturn. Grah Shanti Shani Pooja (Worship of Saturn) is sought for mental peace and to get rid of various diseases. Lakshmi The Mahalakshmi Homa is performed to invoke the energy signified by Lakshmi. Traditionally there are eight types of wealth mentioned in the vedic tradition: Adi Lakshmi (the original Lakshmi), Dhana Lakshmi (abundance of money and gold), Dhanya Lakshmi (agricultural abundance), Gaja Lakshmi (abundance of power and royalty), Santana Lakshmi (abundance of offspring), Vira Lakshmi (abundance of strenght and valour), Vijaya Lakshmi (abundance of all types of victory) and Vidya Lakshmi (abundance of knowledge and wisdom). This Homa invokes and enhances these different types of wealth in our daily life and brings abundance. For a long and healthy life and to get cured from many diseases like epilepsy, tuberculosis, uterusrelated diseases, piles, hemorrhage, etc. To achieve wealth and prosperity. Navagraha Puja The Nava Graha are the main nine (nava) planets or celestial bodies (graha) that influence our lives through their vibrations. In the Nava Graha Homa, offerings are made to all the nine planets, effectively enhancing any positive effects they might be having on our life, and reducing or removing any negative effects. The substances and materials offered into the sacred fire, carry the same vibrations as the respective planets they are offered to, and are able to balance or negate any negative vibrations, and enhance any positive vibrations.
